A Graduate Certificate of Public Policy (6 months full-time, or part-time equivalent) gives you the real-world knowledge that matters to governments, businesses and communities in Australia, while broadening your general or technical skills in public policy.

What you’ll learn

The Graduate Certificate of Public Policy is a 24-unit program that offers a wide menu of subject choices. Students can choose courses listed in one of the following Master degrees:

Graduate Certificate fee discount

Domestic applicants offered a place to study in this Graduate Certificate commencing their studies in 2021 will be eligible for reduced course fees. This fee will apply to courses completed in this Graduate Certificate within 2021 and the first half of 2022 allowing you to study part-time. If you do not complete the degree by mid-2022 the remainder of your subjects will be billed on a full-fee basis from second semester (winter/spring) 2022. Pathway to a Master degree

You may wish to consider extending your Graduate Certificate to complete a Master degree. Your 24 units of study in the Graduate Certificate of Public Policy may count as credit towards the Master of Public PolicyMaster of International and Development Economics, Master of National Security Policy, Master of Public Administration, Master of Environmental and Resource Economics, Master of Environmental Management and Development or Master of Climate Change.
