The Graduate Certificate of Policy Design and Analysis (6 months full-time, or part-time equivalent) will equip you with skills and knowledge to respond to the complex challenges and rapidly evolving demands of policy analysis, design and implementation in the 21st century.

What you’ll learn

The Graduate Certificate of Policy Design and Analysis is a 24-unit program through which you will explore fundamentals of policy design and analysis, how they work in current policy practice, and how the national and global institutional architecture governs public affairs.

Graduate Certificate fee discount

Domestic applicants offered a place to study in this Graduate Certificate commencing their studies in 2021 will be eligible for reduced course fees. This fee will apply to courses completed in this Graduate Certificate within 2021 and the first half of 2022 allowing you to study part-time. If you do not complete the degree by mid-2022 the remainder of your subjects will be billed on a full-fee basis from second semester (winter/spring) 2022. Pathway to a Master degree

You may wish to consider extending your Graduate Certificate to complete a Master degree. Your 24 units of study in the Graduate Certificate of Policy Design and Analysis may count as credit towards the Master of Public Policy or Master of Public Administration
